After her recent win of the Passport to Perfume Challenge Jinx was kind enough to answer a few questions.
How long have you been playing computer/video games? a. I have been playing video games since before Nintendo was created. I started on Atari. I now play on several different systems. I discovered computer games just a few years ago and now I'm addicted...lol.
What game got you "hooked on computer games. a. The Diner Dash series is what originally got me hooked on computer games.
What was the 1st TM game you played? a. My first TM game was Diner Dash 2.
What other than TM games what type of games do you enjoy? a.Besides TM games, I also love puzzle type games like World Mosiacs, adventure games like Wandering Willows, and some hidden object, sim, and rpg.
What are your thoughts on having 16 levels per venue as opposed to the standard 10? a.I think that 16 levels per venue was interesting, but I missed having more new venues to discover.
Did you find the HOG portion entertaining or annoying? a. I did enjoy the HOG portion, but I found it a bit too easy. If you made a mistake in an order did you throw it away or give it toSomeone with a (?) ? a.I don't think I threw anything away. I always either gave it to someone with a ? or put it on the stand (when I finally got one).
Did the Tycoon aspect of the game present any challenge? a.The tycoon aspect of the game was somewhat interesting, only because it made it more challenging to buy the upgrades.
When giving something to the (?) did you mix something or use a rare perfume? a.Whenever someone had a ? I tried to give them some of the most expensive rare perfumes.
Are there any general tips you can give us for getting a better score? a.The biggest tip I think I can give is to upsell everything! I added spritzers, glitter, and bows to everyone's orders. I tried to add quality whenever I had the time.
Note: I liked being able to mix my own perfumes. I always used the most expensive things, but stayed in the "very fast" range.
