I haven't introduced me yet, so let's do that now.
I am Marcel Peijzel, 33 years old. I live in the Netherlands, Europe. They also call this country 'Holland'. Currently I am very ill, and I can't do most jobs because of my illness. Since this forum is a place to have fun, I'm not going into details here, but send me a Private Message if you really want to know more about the 'illness' topic.
I like role-playing games and adventures. I don't like most fast-paced action games. I can enjoy a hidden object game if it has a fun story-line and if it's not time-based. Some HOGs have no time limit, but I hate most HOGs.
I play most games through BFG (Big Fish Games).
Since I also like puzzles, I am thinking about making my own puzzles. Most people copy puzzles from the Internet or from friends, and place these on the forum. But my puzzles, I create them myself.
Maybe I can ask for a forum called "Marcel's Puzzles", with me as the moderator for that forum, so I can also clean-up old puzzles/posts?
And of course I can often be found in the chat corner.
I have no animals. They are not allowed in the building I live in. I have just one room, like most students have, except that I'm 33, I've already had some jobs in the past as a computer programmer and systems administrator, and I am no longer a student.
Hi, Marcel!! Thanks for the nice intro. It helps to know a little about the posters we're getting acquainted with. I've seen ya around here a bit but consider this my formal welcome!!
Hi Marcel. Nice to meet you! I enjoy your posts and also how you help others with guessing the puzzles. I enjoy playing hog's and also adventure games. If you haven't already tried playing the Carol Reed series of games, you might enjoy them. They take place in Swedish locales. Although, her games are not everyone's cup of tea. Anyway welcome to the forums.
I know, own and have played most of the Carol Reed games. However, the game "Remedy" does not run under Windows Vista, but fortunately it does run on my current computer (9 years old). Also, some Carol Reed games can't be ordered by BFG. I've seen at least one title at PF that's not at BFG, but I have no credit card, so I can't order it at PF.
Have you played Aveyond as well? That's a RPG, rather than an adventure, but I enjoyed it.
Marcel's Puzzles is now an active forum! Have fun!
Unfortunately, I am unable to give you mod responsibility in that thread as we have extended our mod capacity on the forum template....who knew there was a limit? lol. But just post new ones as whole new threads as I'm sure the other ones will still be enjoyable to people who didn't see them when they were first posted....I'll go in every once in a while if you want and delete some. Just let me know.
Hi Marcel. If I haven't already told you, Welcome. It's very nice to meet you. Since you are several hours ahead of us in the US...Good morning and I hope you have a great day.

Hi Marcel, I'm glad you made over to our new playground. I hope you have as much fun here as the rest of us have. Look forward to seeing you around the forums.
I'll start posting the puzzles when I have made them. They are currently under construction. To keep the puzzles fun for future users, I'll ask everybody to send their solution to me in a Private Message. That will also keep the cluttering low on the forum. Just be on the lookout for puzzles!
Hi Marcel! You've been a great addition to HH. Sorry to hear that you are ill. I don't like to dig into peoples business, so I will just wish you well!

Hi Marcel - nice to meet you! I'm sorry to hear that you are ill, but glad that you enjoy games and have found a nice place to chat with other game enthusiasts!
I've visited your country once - about 10 years ago - and really enjoyed myself. My mom lived in Den Haag for about a year when she was a girl. Small world! LOL
Right now I am very ill. I can't keep up to date with the forums right now. Also, I risk loosing my Internet connection and my computer, since I can't afford to keep paying for them. So for a while I'll only visit here occasionally when I'm healthy enough to visit the public library.
