After her recent win of the Turtle Odyssey 2 Challenge, Junks was kind enough to answer a few question.
How long have you been playing video/computer games? a. About 25 yrs. I started playing games in the early 80's on a Commodore VIC20. I doubt anyone else on here is old enough to remember the VIC!
What was the 1st video game you played? a. Blitz I think. I spent hours bombing things and I really wasn't very good at it. lol
What game got you 'hooked' on playing games? a. Alex Kidd in Miracle World. The Sega Master System was a Christmas present for our daughter but I played it far more than she ever did. Come to think of it, I don't think she got much of a look in!
What are your favorite types of games? a. I really prefer Time Management and some platform games but I also enjoy good Hidden Object and Word games once in a while if I need a slower pace.
Have you played platform games before? a. Yes. I absolutely loved Sonic the Hedgehog and still play it once in a while. I could equate with him as we had similar hairstyles at the time!
How many times did you replay the game? a. Probably 20 plus but I didn't always complete them when I realised my scores were worse than my previous efforts, which happened all too often!
What part of the game do you consider the most fun? a. I think overall it is a really fun game but probably finding the secrets. That was fun while also being extremely frustrating.
What was the most difficult monster to kill? a. I really didn't have a problem with the monsters and didn't lose any lives on them at all. But oh those flying fish! I lost more lives on them than everything else put together! lol
What tips do you have to get a high score in Turtle Odyssey? a. Having the patience to keep replaying a level until you get a good money bonus. I think some of the other players are much better at the general gameplay than I am but my bonuses were way higher which made all the difference.
Thanks Junks and congrats on an outstanding score.
Congrats! You did an AWESOME JOB!!! And thank god for your patience to keep replaying. I did that about 3 times per level, but after that, if I hadn't gotten the 20000, I just moved on. lol. I'm too impatient.
