While zooming thru the internet on my skateboard, I came across this blog post, dated March 7th, 2009 from our old PF forum friend KISMET!!! The following is from her blog robotfairy.com:
'So my latest game is out, just released on Wednesday of this past week. The game is called Diaper Dash, and it’s about a lovable scientist named Wilson, who finds himself fired from his research job at a big baby toy manufacturing company.
He starts babysitting his nephew in his sister’s basement, not knowing a single thing about babies of course, and slowly begins to learn more about kids and how to take care of them. It’s REALLY a heartwarming story, and I must say, the gameplay is really fun. Then again, I’m biased, since I designed a good bit of it!
The artwork is really adorable and pretty, and the later venues are so cute. They all have themes, like teddy bears and farms. You can even buy a giant pig rug!
My biggest tip for this game is to SWAP babies as efficiently as you can! You can chain the action of swapping, so for example, the second swap gives you x2 points, the 3rd consecutive swap gives you x3 points, etc. Also, keep babies of the same gender in the same stations to get the flag bonuses, and you’ll see points multiplying all over the place.
And I’m pretty over the moon at the moment, because the game is doing really well at PlayFirst (read: like, really really awesome sales). You can get it right now for $9.95 with PlayPass (I signed up for it myself, and there are absolutely no strings. I signed up, paid, and cancelled again right away because I only wanted to support my game), AND you can get another awesome game, Wedding Dash, for FREE at the same time until March 24th, 2009.
