Good Morning Gang, it's a little chilly in this part of The Hollow this morning. We're at 8f/-13c but we're supposed to get up to the mid 20s which isn't too bad. Nothing much new and exciting going on the the game world this morning. Over at The Pond they brought out Word Whomp, judging by the description probably not. I enjoy a good word game, Text Twist, Shangri La, Sandscript. My favorite is probably Babel Deluxe. It's fun to see how tall you can build your tower and equally as disheartening to watch it come down. The free GameHouse game is Escape the Museum, again. Here in The Hollow we have Tibet Quest, appears to be a typical Match 3. (Please correct me if I'm wrong on any of these.)
Tibet Quest
Jane`s father spent his life searching for city of Shangri La. On his final expedition he disappeared, leaving behind an unsolved mystery. Now, following the clues in her father`s journal, Jane travels to Tibet in search of answers. Guide Jane`s journey, carving her path through the treacherous mountain landscape with fast-paced Match 3 action and puzzle solving. Unlock power-up tools to overcome obstacles and build a hot air balloon, then finish the search for the fabled Shangri La.
btw thanks Gable for the tip on Dragon Stone. I tried Dragon Stone and it's an excellent game. It wasn't what I had guessed from the screen shots and description. I had a credit at RA I had to burn so I have the full version now. The kids really love it too. Over at Amaranth they are offering Yummy Drink Factory for $5.99 full version. I tried the demo when it first came out but they were having so many issues with it I never picked it up. It's been a while but what I remember it was a pretty fun TM game and may be worth checking out again. (Hopefully by now they have all of the glitches out of it.) I finished C3 over the weekend with a measly score of $51,000. I did waste money at the end by upgrading a factory to make coffee and another to make truffles. I didn't have the patience to wait for one factory to churn out 200 cases of 3 different types of coffee and 4 different types of truffles. Next time I'll pay closer attention to the order of my creations. The big Cooking Dash Challenge is well underway. There are some pretty impressive scores being posted. In other words, I have a way to go before I'm satisfied with the scores I'm getting. Maybe when this is over the top 3 could give some tips on their strategy. Although if they wanted to let us know now I wouldn't complain *hint, hint, hint*. Cooking Dash will obviously be my main focus today although I may throw in some Dragon Stone and Gemsweeper when my mind starts to turn to mush. Don't be shy, let us know what's going on in your part of The Hollow. As always, whatever part of The Hollow you're in, I hope you have a great one.
