I'm beta testing a new forum feature called ActiveBar. It will be a floating bar which will keep you updated to new PMs, Whiteboard messages, Who's Online, and other updates as you move around the forum. Instead of now, where you can't see that stuff once you are in a thread. If you don't like the floating ActiveBar, you will also have the choice to minimize/place it at the bottom of your screen until you choose to view it.
Kind of a cool feature! If all goes well, we should have it within 2 weeks!
Wow! What a cool feature! ! I don't think I've said that I think you and Gable have come up with a pretty nice website as far as features, layout, colors, etc. I like the Chatbox better on the left, too, as I like to Ctrl End to get to the end of a thread page, and when the chatroom was there that's where I would end up! lol. It's a nice looking site and very navigable. Good job!

Aaaaahhhh, there are some cool features with the new ActiveBar which was supposed to beta test for 2 weeks.....however, Activeboard is still working on it. I just installed the latest beta version, and my forum looks like its underwater, the page is squiggly, lol. Like a ripple on the water surface....
Eventually, there will be Upcoming Events scheduler (cool beans for remembering new game release dates), and a thingy where you can track your friends or something....I would read the info, but seriously....I need to go take a Dramamine! Now how do I uninstall? lol.
Okay, ActiveBar is here in its simplest version. I am hoping that they continue to work on the other additions to forum options for us in the near future....like Friends and Calendar/Events icons.
But as it stands, you will now see ActiveBar at the bottom of your page whenever you login. There are 4 visible icons.
Members: If you hover, it tells you how MANY are online. If you click it, it tells you WHO is online.
Whiteboard Messages: This tells you if you have new ones.
PM: Ditto
Activeboard Forum Icon (the little blue dancing guy in the hexagon): Click it for a mini site navigational tool of the most popular forum features.
If you want to minimize Activebar, hit the Blue Down Arrow on the right. To re-size it, hit the small black UP arrow while it is minimized.
