What genre of game do you enjoy the most

Just wondering what type of game you like to play.  Do you get excited when there's a new MCF?  Does the thought of a new TM game have you pacing until it's released?  How about the latest Tycoon game?  Do you start a spreadsheet when you find out a release date?
My favorite are the Time Management/Dash games.  I see over at PF they have changed the image for Chocolatier Decadence by Design and added different screen shots to it's page.  They are also running Chocolatier on sale until January 20.  Could the release be that far off?
I do play the occasional hog to exercise other parts of my brain but match 3 got old about 10 years ago.
What's your game?

I prefer HOG or a mix of HOG and match 3 games. Preferrably without a timer. Time management games don't work for me, my fingers don't work as fast as they use too, lol.

I like Hog's.The more recent ones that incorporate puzzles or have you finding objects that are needed  before you can advance further in the game are my favorites. My second favorite type of game are the large file adventure games....like Nancy Drew or the Carol Reed series. My first large file game was something called  "Return to Mysterious Island" and I was hooked on them ever since. Recently I've started with TM games and am really enjoying those as well.

I also like HOGS that incorporate puzzles. I loved loved loved the last two MCF. I just finished the MCF: Millionheir on Nintendo DS. It was cute. I originally thought, how in the heck am I going to be able to search a room on a tiny little screen. It actually turns out to be easier to find things. You can only see a small section of the room on the screen at a time, so it makes you look more closely at each part. If you (or one of your children) have a Nintendo DS and you like HOGs then I recommend purchasing this game!

I am a TM freak! If I am really bored and just wanting to goof around with no stress, I will try a good match three like Restaraunt Rush or an HOG, but the TMs are my candy! biggrin

Definitely time management. When I am really desperate for a new game I will settle for a HOG if it is well done.

I'm a time/resource management/dash fan through and through. When I'm bored and desperate, I'll play HOGs, although to be fair, I truly enjoyed the MCF series.

I like sliders the best, like Turtle Odyssey. Although I hated that stupid SuperCow or whatever it was called. Then strategy next.

I love HOGs and TM games. I love the MCF series; have all of them. I also like the Nancy Drew games and others like that. Don't like the match 3 or games like Zuma at all.

I like brain teasers and role playing games.
I don't like time pressure based games, but I do like the Chocolatier series. I can't wait till part 3 is out! aww

I love time management games!!  I've never liked tycoon/adventure type games, however, the one at PF that's currently in First Peek is a 'must have'!!! Can't wait for it to be released!! biggrin

One of my favorites also are the platform games like Turtle Odyssey (he's adorable!) which Latte got me hooked on.  But she's still picking on my Supercow, which is my second favorite platform game, lol!

I hate HOG games as well, especially when the screens have a countdown timer. I don't like fast-paced shooters/HOGs.

That's why I hate Zuma and the Nightshift Legacy.

I really like time managment and strategy games best.  I don't really care for HOGs and First Person Shooter games, or Match Three.  I have a playing card game from RealArcade called Tripeaks which I enjoy, which is kind of fun, and a game from Zylom called Mirror Magic which is a spot the difference game, like the ones Gable posts.  I have always been a huge fan of Turtle Odyssey -- when I first got it I played it constantly -- and still play now and again.

Pinky  --  Latte mentioned that in her POM interview, and I really got a charge out of it!

There is a Turtle Odyssey 2, you know.  NOT Ozzy Bubbles, but a real TO v2.  I haven't played it in awhile, but all the gameplay and challenges are similar to the first one.  I got it at Real Arcade.  But you can go to Realore.com and find it from the developers.

Which turtle odyssey did you enjoy?
I just downloaded "Turtle Odyssey 2" from BFG. I'll try it later this week.

If you enjoyed the first part, then where did you get it?

Marcel.
