I'm so thankful this affiliate site is up and running.  YAY!  And I'm glad the folks here at the beginning were the first to support it. 
That won't ever be forgotten.  aww

This year, I'm thankful for Gable, Casamir, Ljot, XChain, and Candy for being my beta team and supporting the site build. ((LOVE YOU!))

I'm thankful for Alevy, LisaAimee, Summer, Junks, Margy, Pinky, Roni, Mizzmm, rmcm, Ashreykurt, and DB for coming over to support a new affiliate so quickly!! ((BIG TIGHT HUG)) 

That means a TON to me and some of you have already purchased games through our site, using our links at Hobbit Hollow or here in the forum, as well as your PlayGold, and PlayPasses! THANK YOU.  Just so you know, what an affiliate does is link games to a major site and helps spread the word about the great games at that company. 

In return, when you purchase a game by clicking on a link in our site, rather than going directly to PF to make your purchase, what you are doing is linking our code to your purchase.  PF gives us a percentage of your purchase to help us build this forum and site, and hopefully a large community so that we can all have more fun and talk about more great PF games! So it's a WIN-WIN situation when you do that for us and for them!  They do not pay us, if you don't provide them proof that you are chatting about the games and/or building a casual game fan community here.  The same will be true when we eventually affiliate with other companies, like BFG, Reflexive, Amarantha, etc.  Which we are looking at for 2009.

But PF is our home base, and always will be.  We LOVE PF!!

And again, they ONLY pay us if you click the links and make a purchase....cuz you know, they need proof....but our eventual goal is to use any percentage to continue to improve the community by marketing it, creating a bigger forum with more features, and cool new stuff that we can't do right now....
ah....one day, one day. lol.

And of course, last but not least, I'm thankful for all the laughs over the past 2 years compliments of an awesome friend to have, the one and only RjX_.

I am go glad you all started this. I enjoy playing games when I have a spare moment. After the holidays and the kids are bought for I have several games I am going to purchase, I have them on my santa list..I wonder if he thinks I have been naughty or nice...hmmm...lol anyways. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone and I am thankful for all your friendships and kindness. ((((hugs))))

And we are so thankful for you, Latte, and what a great job you've done here, and for having a new drama free playground and an awesome one at that!!!

Didn't know I could use my Playgold here. I'll definately come here and use your links to PF when I make any future purchases.  Waiting for the next dash game to be released but they gotta get those score boards fixed, darn it!!

Thanks again for all your hard work, and many laughs from both you and Gable!! Happy belated Thanksgiving!!!!!!

Yeah, I had a feeling that a lot of people didn't realize exactly what a PF affiliate is or what you are able to do here. PlayGold, PlayPass, PlayPass Deluxe work because we are linked to PF! imslow.gif

So that's why I posted that explanation. If you can do it at PF, you can do it here and "we", as in all of us in this community benefit from 40% percent of the price of the game, instead of it all just going to PF. You can kind of think of it as donating a percentage of your purchases to help keep this site running, friendly, and drama free. Whereas, when you just purchase straight from PF, you aren't benefiting the forum members, you are just benefiting the PF's bottom line. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing as we all love PF, but why not help build a better community too at the same time, and it costs you nothing but the game itself which you were going to buy anyway? :P
