PlayFirst.com Lounge

Haven't been there in a while, like literally months....so out of sheer boredom, I decided to pop in over there and the first post I read is this one from our old friend, Don.  This is out of context to the original thread from their moderator, Corax Vox, but still... it completely made me laugh.

And this one from our friend, David...god there is a lot of frustration going on over there. When are they going to pull it together and actually give a crap about their customers? It's going on a year now that all customer service has gone down the toilet. What a shame to lose a good thing that they once had.

So whom do I have to contact exactly to get a refund for all 15 DDHH addons? The wait has been long enough now, and I'm fed up with it. I don't even care to play it in the future at all anymore, so a refund is the only option to go for me now.

And one from CheetahBen with reply....

Sad, sad, shape.

I decided to come back after many months of leaving this place, and it's very, very disappointing. I am appalled that PlayFirst will refuse to listen to anyone's demands, and that they won't make anything but HOG games.

I am a member of several other forums, and one of the forums is much better managed. To think that all of the moderators at that site are under the age of 22, and aren't even getting paid for it...and yet, when a spambot comes in, it's taken away in less than 10 minutes.

I have also found great games in PC gaming via Steam. Games like Half Life 2 and Left 4 Dead are the games that satisfy me today.

I'll still play Diner Dash and Wedding Dash from time to time, but for now, I hate PlayFirst. Good riddance PlayFirst. Take your head out and listen to people.

Thank you for your feedback, Cheetaben.

I'll be sure to mention it to those that need to hear it!

I have to agree with carfixer....what a bunch of fertilizer, as he put it so gracefully. lol.

I was really amazed when I left PF. Going back there now and only reading but a few posts that I have copied over here as reference just really blows my mind at how low its gone over there.

Over the past few years, there has been ongoing talk in the PF Lounge about requesting they reinvent the "old days" of PF forums...usually by those that didn't even have active accounts back in the so called "old days"....but for those who actually remember the "first generation" who I consider Gable, RjX_, Sketchie, Elmo, Heather89, cruzer, Jen, etc....and the "second generation" myself, FeistysMom, Casamir, Mizzmm, Creedy, etc...you know, before the kids and idiots and argumentatives junked it up....

Don't you just miss it? Damn, that was fun.

I personally miss the interaction with some of the old users, good or bad. Tons of laughs.

I also miss some points about the PF Lounge that many users never realized. Like how just a hand full of members, used a separate private website to meet online at night, to "plan" much of the "spontaneous" interactions in the Lounge that used to make everyone laugh.

I also personally miss seeing Gable blow her top on some idiot. lol.

We are playing DDO.com still. Comes with free live chat installed when you download the game. All you need is a mic. Its so frustrating some days and so much fun other days. Especially the social aspect of playing with people who don't all agree on stuff. Like with MM, you were still basically playing by yourself, with some social interaction. In DDO, your actions effect others, so it's important to do things a certain way, lest you all die. Really fun though a bit exhausting at times. I only play 1-2 hours per night, late night before I go to bed.

I see Mizz was playing Chocolatier on FB. RjX was doing Treasure Island...just not for me. Sooooo boring. I really dont see how FB apps bring game developers money. Seriously. I dont. If someone understands it, explain it to me....

You might want to post it here instead of chat too...only one more month on our chatbox subscription unless we get a donation to keep it going...really have a good amount of guests coming to the site the last few months, just not any content to add unless we go BFG affiliate....which we tried unsuccessfully previously...grrr.....

Whatcha think Gable?

I think the ad clicks make money, ...not the games per se...at least the last I read and/or understood it....
