Good Morning Gang, it's a sunny 64f/18c in this part of The Hollow this morning.  It looks like it's going to be another beautiful day topping off around 80f/27c.  It's hard to believe we're wrapping up July already.  Get the party supplies ready Gable, only about a month and the kids will be back in school. lol
Over at The Pond this morning they've come out with a large file game called
Diamon Jones- Eye of the Dragon.  I can't tell you anything about it.  You can't demo the large files and I don't buy games unless I can at least try them for an hour.
The GameHouse free game is Jane's Hotel-Family Hero....again.  The typical Jane's series TM.
Popcap has a new Mystery PI out now called Lost in LA.  I enjoyed the 1st two but only played the beta on The New York Fortune.  If I remember correctly there was something about a challenge games keeping me busy at the time.  (I know you have no idea what I'm talking about, do you Cella.  Maybe somebody could come up with avatars for the Challenge Junkies around here.  A minor modification to the Zombie avatars should do it.
Popcap also came out with Bookworm 2.  I personally enjoy word games more along the lines of Text Twist, Sandscript and Babel Deluxe.  Babel was cool because as you progressed you built a tower.  The thickness of each layer depended on your score.  Eventually you screwed up and the thing became top heavy and collapsed.  It was fun seeing how high you could build it.  Also there was a variety of different puzzles, not just the swap tiles to make your word.
Well, I just worked on challenge games last night.  I'm about 2/3 of the way through my second game of PtP and on the 3rd venue of FD for the 1st pass.
It looks like tonight will be more of the same with maybe a little BS2.  I may try the Hide and Secret 3 beta that's cluttering up my desktop.  The first one was pretty good but the second one the story was too lame.  Normally I ignore the story line but this one was really in your face and I was afraid I may miss some needed info.  Hopefully the 3rd will be better because it wasn't a bad HOG, (as far as HOGs go, lol)
As usual, whatever part of The Hollow you're in I hope you have a great one.

Hi, Rob!  Long time no 'see'.  The Babbel Deluxe is also my favorite word game and was the first casual pc game I ever purchased.  Needless to say I played it to death, lol.  Still go back and play it every now and again.  Not mundane and boring like some of the word games out there.  But Bookworm is also one of my favs and I didn't know there was a B2 out now so thanks for the info.

Spend most of my gaming time now playing the Faunasphere beta, which by the way will be going public soon.  Sometime in August they say.  It's not for all but I've become hopelessly addicted to it.  Will try to drop by more often though.  Do miss you guys!  Take care!   Pinky
