Ya know, I have been blessed with some kind of weird genes or something ...  I'm 56 and still don't have a need to color my hair.  (Probably just because I typed this I'll start turning totally gray tomorrow, lol!).  I have only one sister and she's 10 yrs younger and has had to color her hair for about the last 10 yrs. And without the dye, she's completely totally all gray. My hubby is also younger than me (how much younger is my secret, lol) and he's been totally gray for about the last 5 yrs. Every now and then he'll use Just for Men, but then he lets the gray take over again for another 6 mos or so. He claims the wine I drink now and then is my 'fountain of youth', lol!

Pinky, you will start getting gray hair now just because you said it! I really was fine until a couple of years ago and then grays started to pop out. I really only have them around my temples and bang line but I readily admit that I am not one of those women who intend to grow old gracefully and live with the gray hair. I don't consider myself old (I am only 46) but having gray hair does make me feel older than I really am. Perhaps it doesn't help that I have a 4 year old grandson.

Redhead (like an auburn), of course.  Naturally I am a brunette with red tones.  Cinaberry is in no way close to my natural hair color.  Next time you are at the grocery store check out the Natural Instincts hair color and you will find cinaberry.

I've enjoyed this thread immensely! You are all so creative, even using parts of your name to make what look like other real names, seriously.

I have good genes too--not with hair, but with skin. I'm 33 and constantly mistaken for being under 21 (I get carded every time I try to buy a bottle of wine!). What's better is I have a 14-year old daughter, and we are *still* often mistaken as siblings! Ok, enough "bragging".

My hair, on the other hand, is showing signs of gray. I'm contemplating dying, but I'll probably go chestnut rather than Cinaberry :)

P.S. My username is a nickname my mom gave me, and alot of people call me by Sonbanon in real life every day, including my husband!

Sonbanon is a long nickname. It reminds me of Cinnabun... But maybe I'm saying it wrong, combined with Cinnaberry's name and the fact that I'm hungry. Love your lil piggie avatar!

I'll admit that I "borrowed" the avatar from a site similar to cuteoverload.com. It was from a story posted about a pig that wouldn't go in the mud so they put boots on him, and he ran amok then! I just think it's hilarious that a pig wouldn't go in the mud without boots :)

just to add a little to this hilarious thread, well, i am not turning gray yet :) but i am almost 25 and shortly before christmas i tried to buy one bottle of alcohol and the lady at the cashmachine wanted to see my ID!!!
and just to make it clear, you can buy alc here when you are 18 already. so she suspected me to be under 18! maybe i should start behaving like a grown-up finally.. headbang.gif

Daria, my youngest daughter is 24 and if she forgets her ID they will not even allow her into a a "R" rated movie!  That only requires you to be 17!  She gets so angry; I tell her to enjoy looking young while she can!

I guess the gray gene runs in our family...Gable...someone should remover that fast. Same story as game as far as the hair color goes ...I am still laughing over cinaberry maybe i should use my hair color name as well...goldenlightblonde or something like that...anywho to answer the question...my screen name is my nickname my crazy inlaws call me...My name is Margaret and i guess they couldnt say it all the way so they called me Margy, they tend to do that to all the relatives...but anyways in some places I am seen as Margy247 the numbers are 247 cause I am margy 24 hrs a day 7 days a week. I know lame but hey it works for me...lol

amy is my first name, the 'b' is my surnames first initial and the '1005' is my birthday and month ta da :)

For me, my username is just my first initial with my surname.

On one of my first forums I tried several usernames, including my first name Marcel. But everytime I got a message "name already in use". And I hated to add a number, and even if I did, it told me that Marcel1, Marcel2 and so were already taken. So I decided to try something else. I ended up with mpeijzel as being one of the few user ids that were not taken by someone else. So afterwards, on (most) other forums and sites, I use mpeijzel as my username. The only thing that changes is my password, of course. (Each site has a different password.)
