I love him to pieces! Wondering when he will learn his name. I don't have a kennel, but a designated puppy area. It is about 6 ft by 4 ft gated off with a baby gate. I have his bed on one side and newspapers on the other side. We only put his water bowl in there with him at night. I let him outside just about every 2 hours when I'm at home. That is going so-so. I just have to make sure to keep all bedroom doors closed at all times.
I think he understands the word No, or atleast shouting. He has been eating all the cats food lately ( they are grazers so its there all day). I caught him about to go to their bowl today and said "No Deuce". And he backed up! He tried a few more times ,but each time he listened!!
Also, he has sort of figured out how to knock down the baby gate and wreak havoc when I'm not home. I have to be more clever and fix the gate so it won't fall down.
Thanks for all the great advice. Not letting him eat all day has really helped.
