Think back to your elementary school history classes......here, I'll sing some Jeopardy music for you while you make your choices.  Do, do do do, do do do. Do do do do, DO, do do, do do, do. Do do do do, do do do. DO, do do, do do,... do...do.  Times up.  Here's the answers.

1. Zachary Taylor.  We just don't know what kinkiness brought on that name.
2. George Washington.  Duh.
3. James Garfield.  Little log cabin on the prairie.
4. James Adams.
5. John Quincy Adams.  Trick question.
6. Martin Van Buren.
7. James Polk.  I heard he had his photo taken at Glamour Shots.
8. James Monroe.  Perhaps this is why he didn't write the Monroe Doctrine.
9. Rutherford B. Hayes
10. William Henry Harrison

Ugh! I only got 6. I'm blaming my lack of sleep. I thought #1 was Grant, since was always rough & ready with a bottle of whiskey!

And did you know that Abraham Lincoln was the only president who held a patent? It was a contraption for steamboats to get them through the shallows.

I only got one right (the question about Garfield).
I am not a USA citizen; I live in the Netherlands, in Europe.
That's why I have most questions wrong.
I could only guess here. In my history classes, they told nothing about the USA presidents.

By the way: there is no answer in the poll if you have zero correct answers! smile.gif

Marcel.

lol. That's okay. In the US, they say nothing about the Netherlands so we're even.

Isn't that horrible? All of our countries are so country-centric when we really all need to be in a global community in this day and age!
